The first day I met with Melissa in our office in uptown Dallas, I just instantly loved her! She is so kind and loving and I knew right away that I wanted to be able to serve her and Derek. Our process started by constructing their budget and the things that they really valued. Then we were off to find an appropriate venue.

It didn’t take very long for Melissa and Derek to settle on the History Room on Main with its fantastic views of Fair Park as well as downtown Dallas.

Melissa and her bridal party got ready at the Statler Hotel, with the assistance of the Natalia Issa Beauty Team. Melissa’s wedding dress was a Pronovias from Bridal Boutique Lewisville, It was pure fall perfection with sleeves!

For the Ceremony, Melissa and Derek got married at the Room on Main and flipped the space after for the reception. It truly only took about 10 minutes with the outstanding staff at CN Catering. Her ceremony string trio musician played her down the aisle to a song by Sigur Ros that was very special to the bride. There was not a dry eye in the room.

Melissa’s flowers were carefully selected to match her simple nature and attention to detail! We really enjoyed designing these for her. Her bouquet was amazing, with a mixture of greenery textures, berries, dahlias, roses and a soft blending of the greenery, navy hints, blushes, and deep reds. It was stunning! Her centerpieces used black as the accent metallic (HUGE 2019 and 2020 trend, Melissa… you are ahead of the game!)

The guests enjoyed cocktail hour as Mariachi from Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra was played. I have never seen such a fun and lively cocktail hour!

Dinner was stations served by CN Catering and the bride’s cake was a lovely 4 tiered piece from the designers at Crumble and Kettle! The groom’s dessert was a real show stopper, however, a full ice cream sundae bar!

Jaime Chavez with Ambiance Entertainment had the crowd going ALL NIGHT LONG! It was unreal!

Finally, the good folks over at Blue Diamond Limo sent their classic white Bentley with an open roof to take Derek and Melissa back the Statler!
