Melinda and Blake wed on October 13th, 2018 in a stunning ceremony at the Beaver Creek Chapel with a reception following at The Timberhearth Lodge at the Clubs of Cordillera Ranch. Her design was timeless and elegant, something that will never go out of style. One of the gifts of Colorado is that the weather is always changing, for Melinda and Blake’s wedding, it was truly stunning. The days prior to the wedding brought the first snow of the season, but the wedding day cleared nicely and the guests got to enjoy to beauty of Colorado’s fall for the reception.

The Bride and Bridesmaids got ready in the morning with the help of Carrie Stockert makeup and M Studios for hair at a private family home. It was a slow and relaxing time where the bridesmaids and the bride could enjoy each other and talk. This was something very important for Melinda in the planning process. She wanted a relaxed vibe for the total experience.

Blake and the Groomsmen spent the morning together at a private rental. One of the special details of the morning was Blake reading the letter that Melinda wrote him before heading to the ceremony.

The ceremony was very special, with a few delicate changes to tradition. Melinda and Blake opted to have only their Matron of Honor and Best Man stand at the front with them, to keep the ceremony very intimate and special. The rest of the wedding party was able to watch the ceremony from the second pew at the church, and share in their time of worship. The ceremony musicians played Melinda down the aisle to Canon in D. Blake and Melinda opted to not see each other until the ceremony, there was not a dry eye in the room as the bride walked down the aisle!

After the ceremony, guests were invited to the reception at the families country club in Edwards. The cocktail hour had breathtaking views of the fall foliage as the fires kept guests warm.

The wedding cakes were provided by Cornerstone Cakes and were so lovely with elegant sugar flowers gracing the bride’s cake. The groom’s cake was an homage to one of Blake’s favorite pastimes, golf!

The tablescapes were blue and white china from Mayfield Events with Florals provided by Mayfield Events Floral. No guest left without saying how amazing the food was! Thanks to the Club’s chef!

Guests enjoyed a full night of dancing and celebration, with the help of the team at Great Time DJ!

One of the best parts of the evening was just as the night was ending and guests were getting ready to toss rose petals for the exit, it started to snow! What a fantastic wedding! Thank you so much, Blake and Melinda (and your amazing family) for allowing our team to take care of you!
