Samantha & Matt

It was such an honor to serve Samantha and Matt for their wedding last fall at First United Methodist Church of Dallas and the Dallas Museum of Art. (photographed by the amazing: Allison Davis Photography)

Samantha and Matt are the definitions of chill. Which made the entire planning process fun and easy. I loved that they attending all of our meetings together!

Samantha and her bridesmaids got ready for the day at the Fairmont Hotel (which I can not recommend highly enough! Such amazing staff and the rooms were perfect!) Her beauty team was Love Luster Beauty & Alyssa Alexandra Artistry. One of the things that I really liked was that Samantha kept her wedding party small, keeping her only bridesmaids her sister and Matt’s sister. The wedding ceremony was at First United Methodist just a short walk from the Fairmont.

The Reception was at the DMA, and most guests just walk across the street to enjoy the cocktail hour in the hallway of the Museum. Adam Morgan with LeForce Entertainment kept the party going! It was such a party the groom was on a table at one point!

A real treat was the groom’s cheese wheels (rather than groom’s cake) from Cheese and Chutney! The bride’s cake was from Dallas Cake Affaires stunning with a lovely floral spray and it is always highlighted by the walls of the DMA!

The florals are always one of our favorite things to create for our clients! For Samantha, she loved a garden feel, even in the urban environment of downtown. So, we created simple low centerpieces that showcased greeneries and succulents.
